Understanding your utility electrical bill
for energy management
and cost savings
Webinar presented by Dr. John Regnier - 1 p.m. MST
Utility electric bills contain not only a wealth of information about energy consumption in the utility, but also useful data about the utility water operation. Careful study of these bills and their historical trends can lead the utility manager to significant cost savings and improved utility operation. This course takes the participant through the significant parts of typical utility bills in easy to understand steps that can point to operational adjustments that improve energy management and save dollars.
Dr. Regnier has a Bachelor of Chemistry degree from the South Dakota School of Mines and an ME and PhD in Environmental Engineering from the University of Florida. He is President and owner of High Point, Inc., an environmental engineering consulting firm in Prattville, Alabama. A past Commissioned Officer in the US Public Health Service and USEPA, Dr. Regnier is author of numerous professional papers and has over 50 year's experience in environmental engineering, the last 25 of which have been related to public water supply issues. He is a consultant to the National Rural Water Association, currently his sole client.
